Drafter

Drafter - Local shop in Bakersfield is looking for a Drafter with experience in mechanical, structural and electrical machine design utilizing current design tools and techniques. This Drafter will do extensive measuring while utilize all measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers etc. This Drafter will capture all dimensional, metallurgical and hardware while working with quality control, sales, manufacturing and project management.

This is a long term, full time position in Bakersfield.  The hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Company offers

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years Drafting experience
• Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks and 3D laser scanner
• Ability to read blueprints and product specifications
• Experience and knowledge utilizing all measuring tools
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Quality inspection
