Job Title: Yard Hand – Construction/Lumber Industry

Pay Scale: $17-19/hr
Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard Hand to join a team in the construction and lumber industry. This is a hands-on, outdoor role that involves supporting day-to-day operations, handling materials, and assisting with lumber and construction tasks. The ideal candidate has experience in framing, remodeling, or working with lumber and is comfortable performing physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
Load, unload, and organize lumber, building materials, and supplies.
Assist with framing, remodeling, or other construction-related tasks as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and work area.
Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
Help team members with material handling and project support.
Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in framing, remodeling, construction, or lumber yard operations preferred.
Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50–75 lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is a plus.
