Sorter

 We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Sorter to join our production team. The Sorter is responsible for inspecting, sorting, and separating materials or products according to specifications. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality and ensuring efficient workflow in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities: Sort and separate materials (e.g., metal, plastic, paper, components) based on type, size, quality, or other criteria. Inspect items for defects or contamination and remove non-conforming products. Operate conveyor belts, sorting machines, or other equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors. Assist with loading/unloading materials and other general labor tasks as needed. Record sorting data and maintain accurate logs when required. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a warehouse, recycling, or manufacturing environment is a plus. Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, dust). Team-oriented with good communication skills. Work Environment: Industrial facility with exposure to noise, dust, and moving machinery. May involve working outdoors or in temperature-controlled areas depending on the material being sorted.
