Truck Helper

Truck Helper $10/hr Assists in picking-up donations by riding in a Salvation Army truck and lifting, carrying, and/or hauling donations into the truck and unloading the same at the warehouse; assists in navigating for the Truck Driver; ensures the accountability, security, and safety of the donations when in route; assists in maintaining the vehicle in proper working order and in compliance with established standards. Hello Samantha, The position is 5 days per week, and the schedule would rotate throughout Monday-Saturday. Guaranteed Sundays off, along with 1 other day. The general start time around 8:30-9:00 to between 4:30-5:15, with a 30-45 minute lunch. I know there are a lot of variables right now but we try to work the schedule as best we can around the store needs and the person. Those are just the extreme start/stop times. The lunch period would just be determined on how late they would work, so they get their 8 hours per day. Our store staff also has the ability to receive “bonus hours” depending on sales metrics, at which point anyone working on those days would receive bonus hours depending on sales, and we calculate those as straight time.
