Accounting Specialist (Hybrid Part-Time) - Temp (15 hours per week) - San Rafael - $30/hour

• Location: Remote (must reside in California)

• Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week during standard business hours

• Duration: Through June 30, 2026

Accounting Specialist Responsibilities:

• Reconciling, reviewing, and processing credit card statements

• Reconciling, reviewing, and processing travel reimbursements

• Entering, reviewing, and processing purchase orders

• Monitoring receipt of materials and invoices

• Assisting with payroll and other routine accounting functions

• Helping maintain accurate and organized financial records

Accounting Specialist Qualifications:

• Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or similar role

• Ability to work independently and take initiative (startup or small-team experience is a plus)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Education sector experience is helpful but not required
