Welder

Location: Bakersfield, CA
 Pay: $25 – $30 per hour

Job Description:
 Our client is seeking a Welder to join the team. This role focuses on welding, cutting, and grinding components for pumps, pipelines, and structural elements. The ideal candidate will have experience with flux core arc welding and MIG/GMAW, primarily on stainless steel.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding on stainless steel, steel, and other metals using flux core and GMAW techniques.
• Cut, grind, and prepare materials for fabrication projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Follow safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with machinists, electricians, and other team members to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements:

• GMAW and flux core welding experience.
• D1.1 welding certification preferred; structural welding experience a plus.
• Ability to cut and grind independently.
• Strong work ethic, self-starter, and team-oriented mindset.
• Long-term commitment and willingness to grow with the company.
