Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description:
The Stand-Up Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a stand-up forklift to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise. This position ensures product is handled efficiently and accurately to support warehouse operations and meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a stand-up reach forklift or electric pallet jack to move materials within the warehouse.

• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.

• Pick, stage, and prepare orders according to production or shipping schedules.

• Verify product accuracy, quantities, and labeling before movement or shipment.

• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety and housekeeping standards.

• Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

• Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of recent stand-up forklift experience (reach or order picker preferred).

• Certification: Must have or be able to obtain a valid forklift operator certification.

• Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety instructions.

• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

• Comfortable standing, bending, and operating machinery for extended periods.

• Ability to work in various temperature environments (depending on warehouse type).
