Position: Sales and Service Technician – Fire Extinguishers and Equipment

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Sales and Service Technician to join our team. This role involves the sale and service of fire extinguishers and related equipment. Responsibilities include performing hydrostatic tests, inspecting high-pressure cylinders, and delivering products to local customers.
Position Requirements:
- Previous experience with fire extinguishers and equipment service is preferred.
- Understanding of handling and use of high-pressure and low-pressure gas cylinders is a plus.
- Employee will be required to pass the state Fire Marshal Fire Equipment Service Technician test (training and testing provided).
- TSA background check, pre-hire physical, and DOT test required.
- Driving record must meet insurance carrier requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Work hours may include overtime, weekends and nights.
- Good handwriting, math, attention to detail, and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and maneuver cylinders up to 300 pounds using hand trucks and tailgate lifts.
- Ability to work outdoors and good mechanical ability.
