Plumber – Installation & Maintenance
Location: Parkersburg, WV
Pay: $15–$20 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time
Job Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated Plumber to join our team! This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate has experience in plumbing and a strong work ethic — but we’re also open to training someone with a great attitude who’s ready to learn and build a long-term career.
Responsibilities:
Installation & Maintenance: Install and maintain water, gas, and drainage systems, including fixtures like sinks, toilets, and water heaters.
Repair Work: Diagnose and fix plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, or malfunctioning systems. Replace or repair parts as needed.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repair work.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work meets local building codes and safety standards. Stay current on industry regulations.
Customer Service: Communicate clearly with clients to explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide estimates.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to urgent repair calls with efficiency and professionalism.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, materials used, and hours worked.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience with plumbing tools, materials, and systems
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Physical stamina for lifting and working in tight spaces
Valid plumbing license preferred (but not required)
A positive attitude and willingness to learn are a must!
Work Environment:
Plumbers work in a variety of settings including residential homes, commercial buildings, and construction sites. Work may be indoors or outdoors and can require adaptability to different conditions and schedules.
