HVAC Technician
Location: Parkersburg, WV
Pay: $15–$20 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role:
We’re looking for a dependable and motivated HVAC Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll install, maintain, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems for residential and commercial customers. We’re seeking someone with hands-on experience — but we’re also open to training the right candidate with a great attitude who’s ready to learn and grow in the HVAC industry.
Responsibilities:
Installation: Install HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation systems.
Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.
Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical malfunctions in HVAC systems.
Inspection: Test and inspect HVAC components for proper operation, energy efficiency, and safety compliance.
Customer Service: Communicate clearly with clients, explain maintenance and repair procedures, and address questions or concerns.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and associated costs.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency service calls to restore comfort and system functionality.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC preferred.
Experience: 1–4 years of experience as an HVAC technician (will consider less with the right attitude and willingness to learn).
Certifications: EPA certification for handling refrigerants required; additional certifications a plus.
Skills:
Solid understanding of HVAC systems and components
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Comfortable working in confined spaces and various weather conditions
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Working Conditions:
Work may take place indoors and outdoors in a variety of residential, commercial, and construction settings. Must be able to lift and move equipment and materials as needed.
