Are you organized, dependable, and great with numbers? We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to handle daily accounting and customer service tasks in a fast-paced office environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with both people and paperwork!

What You’ll Do:
Daily Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and greet visitors

  • Update and confirm customer orders before invoicing

  • Prepare, mail, and file invoices

  • Process customer payments (checks, credit cards, deposits)

  • Create and maintain customer accounts

  • Apply payments to invoices and manage purchase orders

  • Handle mail (pickup and drop off at Post Office)

  • Balance point-of-sale receipts and update past due lists

  • Contact customers regarding overdue accounts

  • Assist with data entry, purchase orders, and general office tasks

Weekly:

  • Balance deposits and log registers for end-of-month reporting

Monthly:

  • Reconcile and run end-of-month reports

  • Print and mail statements and invoices

  • Send past-due reports to sales staff and file documentation

Yearly:

  • Archive invoices older than seven years

What We’re Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with accounts receivable or general office bookkeeping
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized
