This will be full time (40+ hours/week) with the intent to hire on! Pay is $13.00/hr Once you are hired on, you are eligible for this company's amazing benefits package! Which includes: Medical Dental Vision 401K PTO STD LTD Press Operator A Press Operator is primarily responsible for the operation of all press equipment to which they are assigned. The employee will follow all directions and procedures that are established, either written or verbally, as to the operation of all equipment. This position will be located in Cambridge. Responsibilities • Performs typical press operations • Execute accurately as well as precisely comprehensive instructions from all job orders • Establish and adapt press for job runs to accomplish specifications • Initiate start-ups as well as job runs to be in line with production schedule • Comply with all established safety guidelines • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor or quality control • Expected to meet production quotas • Keep track of the number of units that are scrapped due to various errors • Look over and measure parts with precision tools in order to make sure parts meets pre-determined quality and cosmetic standards Expectations • Minimum of a high school education or 3 years factory related experience in a press environment • Required to be familiar with basic handheld measuring tools • Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: trim, inspect and pack • Must be familiar with all the machines required to perform the tasks stated above Are you ready to work?
