NOW HIRING: Assembly Lead
Chicago, IL – Manufacturing / Full-Time – Temp-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities of the Assembly Lead:
Lead daily production operations in the HMA Assembly & HMA Fabrication department to ensure efficient, high-quality output.
Train and support current and new employees on ERP systems and standard work procedures.
Eliminate production waste and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
Assign daily tasks, review production schedules, and ensure on-time delivery.
Participate in hands-on assembly work (approximately 50% of time spent on direct labor).
Assist with QA 1st piece inspections and ensure finished products meet company quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues by collaborating with other teams and departments.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, enforcing company procedures, policies, and quality standards.
Support development and maintenance of work instructions and work aids.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
1+ years of related manufacturing or assembly experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret or follow prints.
Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to stand for long periods of time in a production environment.
Proven ability to lead, train, and support team members effectively.
Schedule & Pay
$20.00 per hour
Monday - Thursday, 5 AM - 3:30 PM
