NOW HIRING: Assembly Lead

Chicago, IL – Manufacturing / Full-Time – Temp-to-Hire


Key Responsibilities of the Assembly Lead: 

  • Lead daily production operations in the HMA Assembly & HMA Fabrication department to ensure efficient, high-quality output.

  • Train and support current and new employees on ERP systems and standard work procedures.

  • Eliminate production waste and support lean manufacturing initiatives.

  • Assign daily tasks, review production schedules, and ensure on-time delivery.

  • Participate in hands-on assembly work (approximately 50% of time spent on direct labor).

  • Assist with QA 1st piece inspections and ensure finished products meet company quality standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues by collaborating with other teams and departments.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, enforcing company procedures, policies, and quality standards.

  • Support development and maintenance of work instructions and work aids.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


What You Bring

  • 1+ years of related manufacturing or assembly experience.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret or follow prints.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time in a production environment.

  • Proven ability to lead, train, and support team members effectively.


Schedule & Pay

$20.00 per hour

Monday - Thursday, 5 AM - 3:30 PM
