Our valued manufacturing partner in Vernon Hills, Illinois is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join their sales department!
Key Responsibilities of the Inside Sales Rep:
- Proactively identify, research, and engage new prospects through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.
- Qualify leads by assessing customer needs, budget, timeline, and authority to purchase.
- Act as the first point of contact and deliver compelling value propositions to prospective clients.
- Schedule product demos, consultations, or meetings between qualified leads and senior sales executives.
- Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activity in CRM systems.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer pain points to tailor outreach strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to provide feedback and insights.
- Consistently meet or exceed quotas for calls, emails, meetings booked, and pipeline growth.
Who qualifies for the Inside Sales Rep role?
- 1+ years in inside sales, business development, or customer service (experience as a BDR a plus but not required).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and spark interest.
- Tech-savvy with CRM systems, email tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Resilient, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented, but also proactive and self-driven.
Schedule & Pay for the Inside Sales Rep role:
- This is a direct hire opportunity with a reputable and global organization
- Shift: Standard business hours, Monday – Friday
- Pay: $60,000 annually + bonus + commission
