Job Title: Concessions BOH Cook
Position Summary:
The Concessions Back-of-House (BOH) Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items in a fast-paced concession environment. This role ensures that all menu items are prepared according to company standards for quality, consistency, and safety while maintaining a clean and organized work area. The BOH Cook plays a critical role in supporting front-line concession operations by delivering food efficiently during high-volume events.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and plate concession food items according to recipes and production standards.
Maintain food quality and presentation standards during high-volume service.
Monitor food levels and communicate with supervisors to ensure product availability.
Operate kitchen equipment safely (grills, fryers, ovens, warmers, etc.).
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper labeling, storage, and rotation (FIFO).
Assist with inventory, restocking, and maintaining par levels before, during, and after events.
Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
Support concession teammates by working efficiently and communicating effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications:
Previous kitchen or BOH cooking experience preferred (concessions, catering, or high-volume food service a plus).
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during scheduled events.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
This position takes place in a concession kitchen setting with exposure to hot surfaces, sharp equipment, and crowded event environments. BOH cooks are expected to maintain professionalism and efficiency during peak times.
