We are hiring for a local footwear company known for quality craftsmanship and operational integrity is currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance/Handyman/Warehouse Worker to join our Auburn team. This is a dynamic role that supports building operations while contributing to our warehouse team’s success.
Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Auburn, WA
Pay: $24 - $26/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30am - 3:30pm

Position Summary:
As a Maintenance/Handyman/Warehouse Worker, your primary responsibility will be the upkeep and repair of the facility and its equipment. You'll also support daily warehouse operations to ensure a productive and safe environment. This hybrid role is ideal for a hands-on professional with diverse maintenance skills who also enjoys contributing as part of a warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities:
General Maintenance: Interior painting, drywall repair, replacing fixtures and tiles, minor carpentry, furniture setup, and general upkeep.
Electrical Work: Replace bulbs and ballasts, install outlets, troubleshoot minor electrical issues, maintain exit lighting, and support lighting upgrades.
Plumbing: Repair leaks, unclog toilets and drains, reseat plumbing fixtures, and respond to minor plumbing emergencies.
HVAC: Schedule and log repairs, change filters, replace thermostats and batteries, and clean vents.
Warehouse Support: Floor cleaning, box organization, shelving, floor repair monitoring, and scrubbing machine operation.
Safety & Compliance: Serve as Safety Officer, maintain safety equipment, manage OSHA reporting and documentation, facilitate forklift certification and training.
Outside Maintenance: Snow and ice removal, trash and landscaping coordination, parking lot upkeep, security camera support.
Supplies & Equipment: Order, distribute, and maintain office/kitchen supplies, safety tools, and warehouse equipment.
Vendor Management: Schedule repairs, manage inspection logs, and coordinate with third-party maintenance providers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior construction, maintenance and warehouse forklift experience
Physical ability to lift 20–40 lbs. regularly
Strong attention to detail and safety
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Good math, reading, and communication skills
Comfortable with fast-paced, multitask work environments
Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
