HTSS is hiring a Warehouse/Assistant Manager in Allentown, PA.
Temp to Perm opportunity.
Monday–Friday
8am-4:30pm
$18/hr
Position Overview:
The Working Warehouse Assistant Manager will play a central role in building and running our Allentown warehouse. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day logistics, inventory, and order fulfillment while guiding a small (and growing) team. This role is perfect for someone who’s proactive, thrives in a startup-like environment, and enjoys building processes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations: Assist with setup and daily management, including order picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.

Process Development: Create and refine procedures that boost efficiency, accuracy, and safety.

Data Management: Handle data entry and maintain accurate records of parts and inventory.

Logistics Coordination: Work with suppliers and carriers to ensure timely, reliable deliveries.

Safety & Compliance: Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards; oversee warehouse equipment and vehicles.
Additional Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges as they arise.

Build strong working relationships with suppliers, partners, and business contacts.

Analyze warehouse performance and implement improvement strategies.
Qualifications:

Previous warehouse experience with a background in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management.

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS) and databases.

A self-starter who can work independently and make sound decisions.

High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.

Valid PA driver’s license required.

Forklift certification a plus.
