We are hiring a Tax Accountant for a local Public Accounting Firm. The Tax Accountant will be part of the organization's goals, philosophy, and mission, providing full-cycle support to the accounting team.

As the Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and/or businesses in compliance with current regulations.
• Conduct tax research to ensure accuracy and identify potential savings opportunities or risk areas.
• Maintain organized records of financial statements, tax filings, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and support long-term financial goals.
• Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and advise management accordingly.

Who qualifies for the Tax Accountant role?

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 1+ years of Tax accounting experience.
• Knowledge of individual and/or business tax returns.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.

How much will you earn as the Tax Accountant?

• Annual Salary; $70K-$90K.
