We have an immediate need for a LAB TECHNICIAN.
Responsibilities and Duties include (but are not limited to) : Conducting chemical lab testing, making analysis of materials. Setting up machinery and weighing product. May research product, controlling process. Must have experience in MS Excel and Outlook. Experience a plus, but will train for the right fit.
You will be working 12 hour days 4 days on/4 days off from 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am rotating schedule. Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA, NFPA, etc.), Environmental Permit Requirements, and company standards • Provide sample preparation and chemical analysis in a production/heavy industrial facility laboratory • Responsible for instrumentation validations • Support or produce lab reports as required • Perform quality system checks and record • Support quality department by performing procedure reviews • Keep the lab and equipment clean and operational • Support quality and lab programs - training and audits Qualifications/Skills/Requirements • Minimum of a high school diploma; Associate degree in a technical field This could be a CAREER for the right person.
