SUMMARY: This position is responsible for working with internal and external personnel to assist customers by putting project bids together. Candidates must understand how to read architectural drawings and utilize real-time meetings with customers via phone or video conferencing. This position requires minimal supervision. 


Essential Responsibilities / Skills Required: 

  • Ability to read architectural drawings 
  • Ability to visualize 3D shapes and scaling 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM 
  • Experience with Bluebeam 
  • Write job proposals and bids 
  • Perform material take-offs 
  • Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills 
  • Good organizational skills 
  • Ability to multi-task 
  • Additional responsibilities as necessary 


Qualifications Summary: 

  • The best candidates will have 3-5 years of experience working within the construction community and have experience reading blueprints and understanding specifications. 
  • Experience in sheet metal, glass, or other construction/industrial trades is highly preferred. 
  • Excellent organizational and customer focused skills are a must with the ability to multi-task. 
  • Tasks must be completed timely, efficiently, and accurately as estimating is a time-sensitive position. 
  • High School Diploma or GED required, BS in Construction field preferred. 


Work environment: Candidates must be comfortable sitting or standing at a desk for long periods of time, communicating with customers via the phone and for video conferencing. Will be working on state of the art work-stations with the most current estimating programs available.


Salary Range: $65K to $80K, DOE 

Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm (Hours can be flexible between 6am and 6pm)
