Position Summary:
The Office Assistant supports daily administrative and clerical functions within a warehouse environment. This role bridges communication between warehouse staff, drivers, and management, ensuring smooth coordination of shipping, inventory, and documentation processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and inventory reports
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist with customer inquiries
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to track order status and resolve discrepancies
  • Input data into inventory and logistics software systems
  • File and organize paperwork related to deliveries, returns, and inventory
  • Assist with scheduling pickups, deliveries, and driver dispatch
  • Support HR or payroll tasks such as timekeeping and attendance tracking
  • Order office supplies and maintain a clean, organized workspace


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
  • 1–2 years of administrative experience (warehouse or logistics setting a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry systems
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
