Wind turbine technician

We are looking to add experienced LEAD Wind Turbine Technicians to our team! We focus on Large Component repairs.This is a traveling position !

Job requirements :

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Has experience doing Major corrective repairs and replacements
• Perform some diagnostic electrical analysis
• Assist in all areas of site operations
• Submit daily time and travel expenses accurately and on-time
• Perform other related job duties as assigned
• Strong leadership, organization, mechanical aptitude
• Generator bearing changes
• Gearbox pitch tubes and Gearbox switches
• Main shaft splits

What are you offer:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on mechanical experience required
• 3 years of wind technician experience preferred
• Ability to climb ladders unassisted and work on towers up to 350 feet
• Work indoors/outdoors in extreme heat/cold for extended periods of time
• Frequently handle, move, and/or lift repetitive weight up to 50 lbs
• Self-initiative with a focus on quality of work and great customer service
• Willing and able to travel 100% of the time.
• Driver’s License required
