Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.

Duties

• Operate various types of trucks, including flatbed, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and manual transmission vehicles.
• Execute route driving tasks, ensuring timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
• Ability to operate various truck types, including flatbed and refrigerated trailers.
• Experience in manual transmission driving is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• A commitment to safety protocols in all aspects of driving and cargo handling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
