Project Manager

Direct Hire / In-Office Position


General Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of projects. The primary objective of this role is to facilitate an excellent client experience while managing resources to deliver projects timely, efficiently, and accurately.

Essential Duties to include:

  • Main point of contact with customers and other departments.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, specifications and scope of work
  • Interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop shop drawings using AutoCAD/Revit
  • Ability to visualize 3D shapes
  • Work with estimating, customer, and design team to resolve details
  • Incorporate design team redlines and field measurements into shop drawings
  • Produce fabrication package for production of construction panels; Engage with the shop to maintain schedule, work through complicated conditions and coordinate shipping
  • Monitor cost and schedule of various projects progress to keep the coordination effort aligned with the project estimate
  • Engage with customers on a regular basis to set expectations, maintain schedule, process approvals, and ensure success of project
  • Monitor levels of raw material goods and inform customer of dimension busts that will cause shortages later in the project
  • Collaborate with other internal departments, such as accounting, sales, estimating, and procurement, to ensure projects stay within budget and on schedule, process change orders and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Keep project files current and organized
  • Manage multiple projects of medium to large scope
  • Additional responsibilities as necessary

Experience / Skills Required / Education Required:

  • 5 years in related field (architecture/construction/glazing/cladding)
  • years working with Revit/AutoCAD required.
  • years working with/reading architectural drawings and structural drawings
  • BS in architecture or construction related field OR 5 years equivalent work experience
  • Competency with Microsoft Office Suite / Office 365 (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Experience with Bluebeam
  • Excellent Communication and Organizational skills
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Attention to Detail and ability to multi-task
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within strict deadlines
  • Continuous improvement: ask questions and continually learn and adapt to changes in industry

Shift / Hours: Monday-Friday with flexible hours between 7am and 6pm. (Committed to 8 hours a day.) In-office position.

Pay Range: $70,000 to $80,000 DOE
