POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Controller to join our team and provide critical support to site management across all controlling, finance, and accounting topics. This role will act as an internal business consultant, lead key financial reporting and planning functions, and ensure adherence to corporate standards.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a key advisor to site management on controlling, finance, and business operations

  • Perform group-wide analyses, identify areas for optimization, and drive implementation of improvement initiatives

  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports with analysis and interpretation

  • Lead the planning process including budgets, forecasts, and contingency planning

  • Set up and maintain local cost accounting and controlling systems aligned with Miba Group standards

  • Prepare and analyze product cost calculations and cost analyses

  • Oversee investment planning, cost monitoring, and ROI evaluations

  • Manage site-specific financial projects and present findings to leadership

  • Ensure compliance with group-wide financial policies and practices

  • Support Group Controller and VP of Controlling in developing standards and tools

  • Supervise finance team in preparing reports and budgets

  • Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit

  • Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with all local/state/federal regulations

  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and internal controls


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

  • Strong computer and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and presentation abilities

  • Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory control, capital expenditure management, and lean manufacturing principles

  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred
