Construction Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager responsible for the overall management and direction of construction projects. This role oversees all phases of the project, including employee and subcontractor management, client relations, quality control, safety, scheduling, reporting, and budget execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all project activities to meet safety, budget, and schedule goals

  • Lead communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders

  • Prepare and manage project documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, proposals, claims, invoices, etc.)

  • Supervise Site Foremen, Superintendents, and other assigned staff

  • Oversee contract negotiations, procurement, and permitting requirements

  • Monitor budgets, track costs, and control schedules

  • Conduct constructability reviews, enforce quality standards, and ensure safety compliance

  • Prepare and deliver project progress reports and cost projections

  • Apply expert knowledge of heavy civil construction, materials, equipment, and risk management


Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to prioritize and delegate in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)

  • Ability to produce plans and sketches in AutoCAD Lite and Adobe Acrobat


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of training and experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of related construction and project management experience required
