Job Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of production and facility equipment throughout the meat processing plant. This role ensures minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency by performing timely, safe, and sanitary maintenance. A key focus of this position is maintaining refrigeration systems, as temperature control is critical to product quality and proper storage.
Additional responsibilities include general maintenance of the building and surrounding property. Maintenance Mechanics are expected to uphold and demonstrate the company’s Core Values at all times.

Maintenance Mechanics report to the Maintenance Supervisor and Plant Manager and are expected to follow their direction and guidance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
1 to 3 years of general maintenance experience required
