Mechanic

MOVE Staffing is searching for a qualified, dependable Mechanic to join a reputable team in the Mid-Ohio Valley.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM (on-call rotation for weekends and after hours)

Pay: From 19.00 per hour 

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Heavy Duty Mechanic for our workshop. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with mechanical expertise who is eager to learn and adapt to new equipment. While experience with our specific equipment is not required, candidates must have a strong foundation in mechanical systems and a willingness to undergo training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty equipment.
• Work with a diverse range of mechanical systems, with the opportunity to expand knowledge in specialized equipment.
• Rotate on-call responsibilities for weekends and after-hours.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new equipment and technologies.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
• Background check will be conducted.
