Job Description

• Safely operate cutting torches and related equipment to dismantle metal materials, such as vehicles, machinery, and appliances
• Accurately and efficiently cut metal components according to specifications, minimizing waste and maximizing salvageable materials
• Follow established safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Assist in the sorting and organizing of metal materials, ensuring proper segregation and storage
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication
• Perform routine maintenance and inspection of cutting equipment to ensure optimal functionality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Torch Cutter or similar role in a metal-related industry
• Proficiency in operating cutting torches and related equipment
• Solid understanding of metal types, grades, and characteristics is preferred
• Strong attention to safety and the ability to follow safety guidelines rigorously
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
