COMMERCIAL WAREHOUSE CLEANERS NEEDED IN INDEPENDENCE KENTUCKY
Duties include but not limited to the following:
Maintaining cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors; dusting shelves and equipment; emptying trash; and sanitizing high-touch surfaces like doorknobs and restrooms. Key duties also involve reporting maintenance issues, adhering to safety protocols including proper use of chemicals, and ensuring facilities are locked and secured. Physical ability, punctuality, and attention to detail are essential for this role.
Core responsibilities
- Floor care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff concrete or other types of floors.
- Surface cleaning: Dust and wipe down shelves, racks, workstations, windows, and other surfaces.
- Sanitization: Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and high-touch areas like doorknobs and handles.
- Waste removal: Empty trash cans and recyclables into designated disposal areas.
- Restroom maintenance: Clean and restock supplies in restrooms.
Safety and security
- Safety protocols: Adhere to all health and safety policies, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintenance: Identify and report any needed repairs or maintenance issues to a supervisor.
- Security: Ensure the facility is locked and secured after hours.
Required skills and qualifications
- Physical demands: Ability to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Attention to detail: A commitment to performing thorough cleaning to high standards.
