The Food Expediter is the key link between our kitchen and front-of-house teams. You’ll ensure that dishes leave the kitchen correctly plated, complete, and on time. This role demands attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain composure in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the flow of orders between the kitchen and servers
  • Review tickets to ensure all items are prepared, plated properly, and meet presentation standards
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with both back-of-house and front-of-house teams
  • Ensure timing and pacing of food delivery align with guest expectations
  • Keep the expo line clean, organized, and running smoothly
  • Handle special requests or allergy/dietary notes with precision
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a food expediter, line cook, or in a fast-paced restaurant environment (upscale/fine dining preferred)
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and a sharp eye for presentation
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly
  • Team-oriented mindset and a passion for hospitality
  • Availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
