The candidate that fills this position will be assisting in all aspects of our liftgate production and shipping processes. You will be exposed to fabricating and finishing steel, building custom pallets,, banding and shrink wrapping LTL parcels, assisting in the machine shop with the drill press and metal band saw, assembling power units and assisting with liftgate QC inspections and picking/packing parts orders. Once you complete your first 90 days (probationary period) your performance will be reviewed and you will have the opportunity to choose and pursue your career path. Starting salary for this position runs between $ 17.50 and $ 18.00 to start but your salary will be renegotiated after you successfully complete your 90 day introductory period. Your renegotiated pay rate will be determined by your willingness to learn, level of enthusiasm, attendance pattern, job performance, and your chosen career path.
Job Requirements
· Must be mechanically inclined.
· Must be enthusiastic and willing to learn.
· Willingness to drive/operate a forklift and become PIT certified
· Must have reliable transportation.
· Willingness to “work on your feet” for a full eight hour shift in a non climate controlled environment.
