Position:  Shipping & Receiving (Cleveland)

Reports to: Director, Ohio Plant

Has Reporting to:  None

Main Function: 

Manage all incoming raw materials that are used by the plant and make sure all finished products are shipped to the distribution center. Ensure that warehouse cleanliness, storage area and equipment are well maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
• Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Reviewing orders of supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels.
• Ensuring all finished goods are shipped to the distribution center after previous days production.
• Checking items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
• Ensuring basic facility standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
• Coordinating and maintaining equipment.
• Communicating and coordinating with other departments. 
• Being the main point of contact for warehousing with other department supervisors.

            

Education and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of food safety procedures. 
• Team player.
