Job Summary

Main area of responsibility is preparing, packaging, and shipping material.  Your responsibilities will be to ensure efficient, safe, and professional packaging, shipping, and receiving of various materials.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support, foster, promote, and demonstrate Core Values; Whatever it Takes, Open to Change, High Standards, Think Like a Customer.
• Prepare, pack, and ship material within specifications
• Communicate all needs to Shipping Senior Associate
• Assess and communicate material shortages to appropriate leadership.
• Prioritize job needs and multitask to meet various job duties.
• Actively contribute toward a safe work environment.
• Maintain department 5S requirements.
• Validate order accuracy before material is shipped.
• Demonstrate problem solving and decision-making ability.
• Interact with co-workers to exchange information about tasks and to coordinate work.
• Interact with supervisors to receive work instructions.
• Maintain clean work area and perform machine and equipment maintenance as instructed by team leads and management.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Experience

• Minimum of 1-3 years experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to make decisions for acceptance/rejection of product.
• Ability to follow priorities set by supervisors and sequence tasks within a set framework. Tasks are generally repetitive.
• Ability to interact with co-workers to exchange information about tasks and to coordinate work.
• Ability to interact with supervisors to receive work instructions.
• Desire & ability to learn continuously on the job.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality required.

• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
