A Press Operator is responsible for running and managing press machines, ensuring the production of high-quality materials while maintaining safety and efficiency in the workplace.


Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain various types of presses, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on materials to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues with the process, including machine malfunctions and material misalignments.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning and replacing parts as necessary to prevent breakdowns.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating press machinery and understanding of press processes and materials.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor production closely and ensure high-quality output with minimal errors.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly address and resolve issues that arise during production.
  • Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials.

Work Environment

Press Operators will work in-house, rotating to different press departments. The work environment can be fast-paced and may involve exposure to noise and machinery, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
