Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant
Location: Youngstown, OH (On-site)
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to assist our legal department. This position supports three in-house attorneys and requires a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, proofread, and format legal correspondence and documents
- Manage, organize, and maintain both paper and electronic filing systems
- Apply for and maintain various licenses across multiple states and jurisdictions
- Maintain and monitor license records in internal databases
- Answer phone calls, manage attorney calendars, and schedule meetings
- Assist with general office duties, including scanning, copying, emailing, and mailing/shipping documents
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of administrative support experience, preferably in a legal or corporate setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Workspace, and Adobe PDF
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and solve problems
