SUMMARY:
Responsible for daily inventory counts on all production purchased parts. Additionally, responsible for the shipment of all pass through parts. Compiles records of all inventories completed. Concerned with informing the materials planner of inventory conditions which will impact production. Ensure inventory levels are within prescribed level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONISIBILTIES:

- Performs daily inventory counts, analyzes data and makes adjustments as needed
- Works with Production and Material Control to perform analysis of unexpected material shortages to determine root cause.
- Responsible for overseeing the daily scrap process. This includes working with Quality to ensure the scrap disposition process is being performed correctly and transacting daily scrap within the SAP system.
- Maintains inventory control records for audit purposes.
- Informs Material Control of all unexpected inventory situation
- Oversees the Component reclamation process
- Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock with agreement from Logistics and Finance.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

- While performing the duties of this job in the production area, the associate occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- The noise level in the production area is usually loud.
Temperatures vary between room temperature and 120° in the production area.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate. Minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Forklift license is a plus.
