Products are used in a wide range of markets including automotive, aviation, aerospace, construction, medical, health and beauty, packaging, transporting, and sports and leisure. 

Job Summary: 

Under supervision, the primary focus of this role is to provide material movement & recordation. The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for performing a range of diverse duties including the handling, movement and storage of raw, intermediate and finished goods in appropriate locations, and transaction recording of movement into an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) to the standards required for the business to meet its goals and objectives, and to perform related work as assigned. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Remove quarantined material from production and segregate in designated location 

• Coordinate with quality and inventory coordinator on samples and trial material. 

• Maintain active knowledge of current production plans and schedules to load cage samples into the correct cycles. 

• Pull material for operations, as needed. 

• Close production batch orders. 

• Financially end batch orders in ERP system. 

• Cycle counting all material types from raw materials to finished goods. 

• Maximize staging for full warehouse capacity. 

• Check paperwork and AX transactions for accuracy. 

• Update AX when moving material. 

• Complete inventory adjustments to correct inventory discrepancies. 

• Ensuring H01 is emptied, and all transfers are completed correctly. 

• Drive the housekeeping items in the warehouse (5S). 

• Inventory spot checking and cycle counting.

• Serve as a backup to shipping, when needed. 

• Receiving in containers in AX.

 • Monitor levels of raw materials and communicate with purchasing on when to order. 

• Inspect/Sort quarantined materials, when needed.

 • Become proficient in AX to serve as a source of AX training and batch order paperwork.

 • Record and communicate errors when found and coordinate with shift supervisors as discrepancies are found in AX and on batch order paperwork. 

• Other duties as required/assigned. 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, and operating instructions.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

• Basic computer skills required. The Company will provide training on ERP system, e-mail system, etc.

 • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). 

• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail. 

• Efficient time management. 

• This position requires the employee to be certified in forklift operation and operate forklifts in warehouse & production environments. The company will provide certification onsite. 

Education and Experience: 

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. 

• Demonstrated skills in production are highly desirable; one (1) year or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

• Inventory control and/or management. 

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to traverse the facility. 

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
