A family-owned wholesale artisan bread bakery serving restaurants and grocers across Metro Cleveland is looking for a skilled 3rd Shift Deck Oven Baker to join our team. If you have real bread baking experience in a commercial environment and are looking for consistent, full-time overnight work, we’d love to hear from you. Your experience must include baking bread in a rack or deck oven, shaping dough, and proofing dough.

• Pay: $19-21/yr
• Shift: 7:30pm – 3:30am; with 2 off nights on Saturday and either Monday or Tuesday night

What You’ll Do:

• Proof, score, and bake a variety of artisan breads
• Shape dough alongside a team at the shaping table
• Operate commercial baking equipment including Revent double rack ovens or deck ovens
• Ensure food surfaces and baking equipment meet all health and safety standards. Clean and maintain baking equipment, utensils, and tools.
• Helping pack and/or slice bread.

What you need to be successful:

• Previous experience as a deck oven baker.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Legally able to work in USA
• Able to work third shift hours in a fast-paced environment as part of a team and on individual tasks.
• Physically able to move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, and state health and safety precautions and regulations
