With over 45 years in business we’re seeking a Benchman/Polisher to join our skilled team of tool and die makers. Recently relocated to a new, clean, air-conditioned, and quiet facility, we remain under family ownership and pride ourselves on a collaborative, flexible, and quality-first environment.

This is a bench-focused role involving precision handwork, polishing, and tooling fitting. While you'll occasionally assist with broader shop duties, your primary responsibility will be the custom fitting and finishing of precision tooling.

Available Shifts

• 1^st shift (6am-4pm) Mon-Thurs
• 2^nd shift (8pm-6am) Mon-Thurs

Key Responsibilities:

• Hand-fit and polish tooling to customer specs using manual and powered tools
• Polish and blend surfaces using stones and sandpaper to achieve near-mirror finishes (50–80% of daily tasks)
• Assemble/disassemble tooling components as needed
• Conduct inspections and document results
• Read and interpret blueprints and collaborate with engineering
• Measure using standard and custom gauges (calipers, radius gauges, etc.)
• Operate forklifts and/or overhead cranes for material handling
• Pack tooling for shipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with powered and manual tools
• A steady hand and keen eye for detail
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to quality and continuous improvement
• Willingness to wear multiple hats in a small team environment
