MUST HAVE STAND-UP & SIT DOWN FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE TO QUALITY FOR THIS POSITION
Payrate: $18.00/hour
Job Summary:
The Forklift driver’s position requires an employee, to safely operate a forklift and comply with all quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely transport raw materials from storage to production.
- Safely transport product to & from production.
- Safely load and unload product for shipping & receiving purposes.
- Safely keep all production flowing and understand the logistics of the production lines.
- Completion of all Downtime, and Production reports.
- Perform Forklift equipment safety evaluations.
- Perform other duties as required or directed by management.
- Implement continuous improvements to work areas.
- Use the 5’s system.
- Understands Quality, and Materials Policies.
- Understands Company Environmental, and Safety
Policies Required Skills/Experience:
- 1 year of prior Forklift experience required.
- Anyone that operates a forklift must be certified, and able to present credentials upon request.
Academic / Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
Working Conditions:
• Must be able to move throughout all areas of the plant as required to perform duties.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures inside the facility.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to spend 100% of the time on the production floor in a manufacturing environment.
