Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Production Planner to support our production team in organizing manufacturing schedules, coordinating material requirements, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a background in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing who are eager to grow their planning and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to ensure material availability.
- Support production workflow by identifying bottlenecks or delays and escalating issues.
- Communicate with internal teams (purchasing, logistics, warehouse, and production) to align on schedule requirements.
- Update and maintain accurate data in ERP or MRP systems.
- Track progress of production orders and ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist in reporting production performance and schedule adherence.
- Participate in meetings related to production planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production support role is a plus.
- Basic understanding of production planning or supply chain processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic office applications.
- Experience with ERP or MRP systems (preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
