Maintenance Technician I

Now Hiring a Production Maintenance Technician I for a Great Company in Kent, OH!

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

General Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems.
• Monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness according to standard procedures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment problems efficiently.
• Conduct equipment failure analysis and perform unscheduled maintenance as necessary.
• Log maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment modifications in the designated system.

Other Duties:

• Start up production machines daily following standard operating procedures.
• Mix raw materials specific to each machine’s production requirements.
• Perform machine color changeovers as required by production needs.
• Conduct basic building maintenance and repair tasks.
• Properly recycle or dispose of solvents and other materials.
• Operate production machines when necessary to support production goals.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of general work experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Willingness to learn and grow under the guidance of senior technicians.

Schedule: 5:00am – 4:00pm Monday - Thursday

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00
