Now hiring a CNC Operator for a manufacturing company in Akron for 1st shift, 6am – 2:30pm.
Monday – Friday
Weekly pay starting at $18 per hour, depending on experience.
Overtime hours: 6am – 4pm, Monday – Friday and 6am – 11am Saturday.
The CNC Operator is responsible for the operation of both the CNC Mill and Lathe including set-up, tool change, and entering G&M codes.
Job Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes, including programming.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Inspect and measure materials to confirm accuracy and quality.
- Document all inspection results and submit accordingly.
- Notify a supervisor of any abnormalities.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform basic maintenance.
- Any other task requested by a supervisor.
Requirements:
- Ability to read measuring instruments.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous CNC machinery experience.
