Laser Operator

Now hiring a Laser Operator for a manufacturing company in Canton for 1^st shift, 7am – 3:30pm.

Monday – Friday

Weekly pay ranging between $18 - $20 per hour, depending on experience.  

The Laser Operator is responsible for reviewing set up sheets and specifications to determine set up procedures and dimensions of finished pieces.  

Job Duties:

• Attach punching tools to holder and position tools in machine.
• Load control media in machines and enter commands, observe numerical displays and adjust.
• Manipulate control and enter commands for cutting or punching.
• Monitor gas for proper consumption and adjust laser parameters accordingly.
• Shear material for orders as required.
• Any other task requested by a supervisor.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
