General Labor

Order Type : Temp To Full-Time

Currently we are looking for great individuals ready to work with great companies!

General Labor/Machine Operator openings in both NW and SE Grand Rapids, Michigan.  These are long term “temp to perm” positions.

Positions Include:  General Labor – Inspection - Packaging – Assembly - Machine Operator.

Responsible for the set up and operation of a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Securing and maintaining material and supplies required for the operation.   Following work instructions and production procedures.  

Some positions may require successful completion of basic math and measuring tests. 

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Completes work area set up.
• Operates and feeds the machine in a safe and efficient manner, and according to established procedures.
• Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover, label and band components/finished product.
• Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift/startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Checks materials and finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Good attendance is a must.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in manufacturing and/or assembling is required.
• Working knowledge of basic math and standard tape measure. 
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Pay: Starting at $16 and up depending on shift and position 

Shift: 1^st 2^nd and 3^rd shift openings
