We have 1st and 2nd shift opportunities to join a fantastic company on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids who is willing to train – no previous experience is necessary!
$16.00/hour with Shift Premium – Increase when hired in
Essential Duties:
- Entry level assembly position
- Inspect for quality and imperfections
- Work with water-based glue products and hand held tools
- Be able to read a tape measure or willing and able to learn
- Detailed orientated and good hand dexterity is vital as well as hand-eye coordination
- This position requires continuous: (continuous = 67-100% of the time)
- Standing, grasping, pinching, seeing, hearing, and repetitive hand motions
- Pushing, pulling, and lifting of up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- This position can require frequent: (frequent = 33-66% of the time)
- Talking, stooping, crouching, bending at waist and twisting upper body
- This position can require occasional: (occasional = up to 33% of the time)
- Kneeling
Qualified Applicants for Immediate Consideration Should Have:
- Reliable Transportation
- Good Attendance Record
- Willingness to Learn
- Communication Skills with ability to carry out verbal and written instruction
- At least 6 months of previous experience in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to work 1st shift (shift start times vary by department)
