Welder

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, possess mechanical knowledge, and be proficient in reading blueprints. 2+ years recent Mig welding experience in a metal fabrication manufacturing environment with heavy gauge steel is required. This position regularly requires regular heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).

Duties:

- Perform MIG welding on various materials such as sheet metal and ductwork

- Read and interpret blueprints to execute welding tasks accurately

- Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise weld dimensions

- Operate a forklift to move materials within the work area

- Conduct plasma cutting as needed

Skills:

- Proficient in MIG welding techniques

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately

- Mechanical knowledge for equipment setup and maintenance

- Familiarity with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) is a plus

- Experience with plasma cutting equipment

- Competency in using calipers for measurements
