Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of forklifts and handling heavy equipment in a warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following warehouse standards
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role
- Proficient in operating different types of forklifts such as clamp trucks, order pickers, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Ability to operate heavy equipment efficiently
