Quality Assurance Technician

Now hiring a Quality Assurance Technician for a manufacturing company in Canton for 1^st shift, 7am – 3:30pm.

Monday – Friday.

Weekly pay at $20 per hour.

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for conducting daily inspections and testing of products using a variety of tools and techniques.  

Job Duties:

• Inspect materials received, finished products, and work-in-progress of fabricated metal products to ensure conformance with drawing specifications.
• Perform First Article Inspections and prepare First Article Reports in Microsoft Excel.
• Calibrate inspection equipment and maintain records in database.
• Complete adjustments on some lots as required by the customer.
• Maintain inspection records according to company and customer standards.
• Any other task requested by a supervisor.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers.
• Familiarity with CAD to enter parameters in inspection software.

Previous experience with Metal Fabrication is required.
